Terms & Conditions
Effective July 31, 2026
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the 630 Overhead website and our garage door services. By requesting an appointment, approving an estimate, or using this website, you agree to these terms together with any written estimate, invoice, warranty, or other service document provided to you.
1. About These Terms
630 Overhead provides residential and commercial garage door repair, maintenance, installation, opener, and related services in Lombard and surrounding western suburbs. If a written estimate, invoice, or warranty conflicts with these website terms, the more specific written service document controls for that work.
2. Services
- Services may include garage door and opener inspection, repair, maintenance, replacement, and installation.
- Availability, timing, and recommendations depend on location, technician scheduling, site conditions, parts, weather, and the condition of the door system.
- 630 Overhead may decline or stop work when conditions are unsafe, information is incomplete, required access or authorization is unavailable, or the request is outside our service capabilities.
3. Bookings and Appointments
- A website, phone, email, or text request is not a confirmed appointment until 630 Overhead accepts and confirms it.
- Arrival windows are estimates. Traffic, weather, earlier service calls, parts availability, and emergencies may affect timing.
- An adult owner, tenant, or authorized representative must provide safe access and be available to approve work when required.
- Please notify us as soon as possible if you need to reschedule or cancel. Any cancellation or trip charge will be disclosed before the appointment is confirmed.
4. Pricing and Payments
- Estimates are based on the information and conditions reasonably available at the time they are prepared.
- If inspection reveals additional damage, parts, labor, permits, or a changed scope, we will explain the change and request authorization before performing additional work.
- Available payment methods will be shown on the estimate or invoice. Electronic payments may be processed by a third-party payment provider.
- Payment is due according to the accepted estimate or invoice unless different terms are agreed to in writing.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
- Contact us promptly to cancel or reschedule. Charges already incurred for special-order materials, permits, completed work, or a previously disclosed trip or cancellation fee may remain due.
- If 630 Overhead cancels an appointment, we will offer a new time or refund any payment for work that was not performed.
- Completed labor and installed parts are generally not refundable. Service concerns will be reviewed under the applicable written warranty and the circumstances of the work.
6. Customer Responsibilities
Provide accurate information, safe and reasonable access to the garage and controls, and notice of pets, hazards, property restrictions, or pre-existing damage. Remove vehicles and personal property from the work area when requested. Do not operate a door that is off track, hanging, damaged, or otherwise unsafe.
7. Safety and Existing Conditions
Garage door springs, cables, doors, and openers can cause serious injury or property damage. Customers should not attempt adjustments or repairs requiring specialized tools or training. 630 Overhead is not responsible for concealed defects, pre-existing conditions, code issues, or failures unrelated to the authorized work, except to the extent caused by our negligence or as otherwise required by law.
8. Warranties and Limitation of Liability
Any workmanship warranty is limited to the coverage and period stated in the applicable estimate, invoice, or warranty document. Manufacturer warranties are provided by the manufacturer and may have separate requirements. To the fullest extent permitted by law, 630 Overhead is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
9. Intellectual Property
- Website text, graphics, branding, logos, photographs, and other original materials are owned by or licensed to 630 Overhead.
- You may use this website for personal, noncommercial purposes. Content may not be copied, republished, sold, or used to imply endorsement without written permission.
10. Illinois Law and Changes to These Terms
These terms are governed by Illinois law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. We may update them prospectively by posting a revised version and effective date. Continued website use after an update means the revised website terms apply to later use; existing service work remains governed by the documents accepted for that job.
